Joe is a bass player, multi-instrumentalist and background vocalist with two decades of experience in stage performance, world touring and studio sessions. He has contributed to projects signed by Stewart Records, Third Man Records, Spectra Records, Mulholland Records, Sony Records, and SST Records, and completed world tours spanning over 40 countries and hundreds of performances. In 2019, Joe was hired by SST Records as the touring bass player for the legendary hardcore punk band Black Flag. Joe has also been employed as a backing musician for a wide array of original artists, including Los Angeles based Country-pop singer-songwriter Dani Rose, national blues guitar phenom Angela Petrilli, and Third Man Records Artists The Dough Rollers.

 

Joe had spent the last twenty years working in predominantly Los Angeles, New York City and briefly Austin, where he found his first professional opportunities as an internationally touring backing musician, and regular studio musician for both independent productions and artists, as well as commercial studios. Joe Relocated to Central Florida from Los Angeles in April 2024, and within a short period of time has been able to maintain a consistent working schedule with a handful of the area’s busiest working groups- including Slickwood(country/rock/americana), Johnny Wild and The Delights(50s/60s classics) and The Greg Warren Band(country/southern rock). Joe Has also had the privilege of working with original artists in the Central Florida area as a backing musician, including Michael Allman(son of Gregg Allman) as well as Nashville Recording Artist Macey Mac. 

 

Since focusing on performing in the Central Florida area, Joe has been employed by various groups to appear at such events as the 2025 Busch Gardens Food and Wine Festival, the Disney 10k run, a sold out run at the Orange Blossom Opry with Johnny Wild’s Christmas show in Dec 2024 and City-sponsored Corporate Events like Light Up Claremont, Rocktober Fest Tavares, Rockin the Cloud ST. Cloud NYE 2024 and most recently Winter Springs Celebration of Freedom 2025 on Fourth of July. Joe focuses on playing private corporate gigs regularly with several of the groups he works with, and has made appearances performing for private events at the convention centers of the Hilton Lake Buena Vista, Waldorf Astoria Orlando, World Center Marriott, Hyatt Regency Orlando, Gaylord Palms, Seaworld Discover Cove, Shingle Creek Golf Club etc. 

 

Musically, Joe’s main influences draw heavily from blues-based Rock & Roll, though he has grown to love playing and listening to all genres of music over the course of his career, with his personal favorite styles to play being in he realm of american roots music. Styles like Blues, Country, Classic R&B and Rock ’N’ Roll are what Joe Considers his strong suit as a player. He continues to be inspired by talented bass players, such as James Jammerson, John Paul Jones, Duck Dunn and Andy Frasier, as well as blues musicians playing live at local jam nights Joe often frequents to network with other players. Joe maintains an extensive vintage and contemporary record collection, and curates a small archive of records and their history on Instagram, @todays.tunes.

American Mile, Mason Ent. - Bass Player

2022 - 2023

• Completed over 200 performances with the band over 16 months, with most bookings provided by the band’s booking agency, TEI/Mason Ent.

• The band played venues ranging from regular night clubs to state fairs and casino halls, as well as private events, including fundraisers, weddings, and corporate events.

• The band opened for National acts on big tours, including Buckcherry, Lindsey L. And Cameron Marlow.

• Completed over 150 performances with the band over 12 months, including tours of America, Mexico, Japan, the UK and South America

• Played in a wide variety of venues (traditional auditoriums, festivals)  for audiences of up to 5,000

• Participated in interviews and press events related to the tours, including a video interview at Norman’s Rare Guitars in Los Angeles
